Each morning, guests are treated to a hot, full Southern breakfast served in the main house Dining Room on antique china, surrounded by 19th-century portraits of early Natchez ancestors of the Stone family.

The main house began as a private billiard hall built in the style of a Greek temple, with rare pocket doors of ornamental glasswork. Guests who stay a minimum of two nights are invited to a Soiree Musicale with live piano music in the Antebellum Music Room.
The builder was David Stanton, whose brother built world-famous Stanton Hall nearby. Acquired in 1877 by Joseph Newman Stone, the house has remained in the Stone family ever since, and the cottage grounds still show family portraits and antiques.
Stone House sits in the Downtown Historic District, an easy walk to tour houses, antique shops and restaurants. A few favorites nearby:

Yes. A full Southern breakfast is served in the main house Dining Room each morning.
Check-in time starts at 3:00 pm, check-out time 10:30 am.
There is a non-refundable deposit collected for each booking. The deposit is applied as a credit on the invoice. Then the balance is collected at check-in. Five days cancellation notice is required to avoid complete charges including all taxes.
Most weekends require a 2-night minimum when Friday or Saturday is booked.
Maximum occupancy four. The cottage is booked to only one party at a time.
Stone House does not accommodate children under the age of 14. No pets. No smoking.
VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or cash are accepted.
Guests who stay a minimum of two nights are invited to the Soiree Musicale. The concert is not guaranteed for single night stays, late arrivals or last minute bookings.
Stone House does not ship items left behind by guests. Please take all of your personal belongings with you when you depart.
